1:1 Sessions are suitable for everyone, ranging from some gentle and playful movement to an intense workout. Every session is tailored to the participant and what you want to get out of it.
These are very much suitable for beginners. Understandably, many people feel intimidated by the prospect of ‘doing parkour’ because they imagine it to be young men doing big jumps and flips on rooftops. But this is like thinking that running is only about a 100m sprint, whereas anyone can go for a jog round a park.
Parkour really is for everyone. I have a lot of experience of working with people who feel scared, intimidated or otherwise not confident physically. This has included coaching less-young adults, women-only sessions, sessions for people with mental health difficulties and people who are not typically sporty. It’s all about starting slowly in an emotionally-comfortable environment.
Sessions are available daytimes or evenings, weekdays and weekends. I live in central London (near Waterloo) and can easily travel a reasonable distance in any direction to a parkour-suitable location near you.
